Build healthcare AI people can trust.
Put patients, clinicians and sensitive information at the center of the design. We work with your team to decide what AI may help with, where a person must decide and how the system meets your obligations.
Your account executive is your dedicated point of contact throughout the project.
The challenge
When safeguards come too late.
Patient safety, privacy and payment rules shape what a care tool can do. They belong in the first conversation.
01 / AI use can get ahead of clear rules
When people start using AI before an organization agrees on boundaries, teams may not know what information is safe to share or which decisions require a clinician.
02 / The compliance question is asked too late
Teams need to decide where patient information may go, who can access it and what must be recorded before building features around it.
03 / Business model decisions are regulatory decisions
How a platform handles payments can affect its legal obligations. We map the proposed flow so your legal advisers can assess it before implementation.
04 / Clinicians need to check the source
An answer a clinician cannot trace is one they cannot chart or defend.
How we help
Careful decisions from the start.
Bring clinical, operational and compliance voices into the design before a feature is built.
A payment flow that fits the rules
Map how payments move and who handles them before a product decision creates a compliance problem.
A safe path for patient information
Decide what patient information can be shared, with whom, and what must be recorded or retained.
Consent you can track
Make consent and disclosures easy to record, review and update as requirements change.
Human review where it matters
Define what AI may prepare, what a clinician must review and what must be tested before a feature goes live.
Access to your own data
Make it possible to take your records with you rather than depend on a vendor to release them.
Design story / EttaCare
How EttaCare put people and safeguards first.
A platform we designed and built for therapists in Oregon and Washington, combining insurance operations and practice management in one membership. This is a prelaunch design story, with no outcomes to report yet.
Money never touches the platform
Insurance payments are designed to flow directly from insurer to provider. The platform reconciles the records without holding the money. This design addresses licensing and fee-splitting questions early, with legal review part of the process.
Pricing considered alongside payment rules
The prelaunch design uses flat membership and optional flat per-claim fees. Pricing and payment flows were considered together so legal advisers could review the model before launch.
The AI drafts and never signs
Optional AI note drafting runs on a HIPAA-eligible model under BAA with no training on provider data. Drafts are labelled as AI-generated and cannot be auto-signed. The clinician reviews, edits and signs. The feature does not turn on until it passes a clinical accuracy evaluation. Signing locks the note permanently; corrections happen through linked amendments that preserve both versions.
The exits are built in
One-click full export of every client record, note, appointment and financial record. Month-to-month membership, cancel anytime. Stated publicly as deliberate anti-lock-in. This is the same principle we apply to our own engagements, which is why we recognised it as the right call here.

Talk to usCommon questions
Questions healthcare teams ask.
How do you work with our compliance team?
We involve your compliance team early. Their requirements shape how information moves, what AI can do and where a clinician must review.
Who is responsible for clinical records?
The clinician is. AI may help prepare a draft, but a clinician reviews, edits and signs the record. We test the feature before it is enabled.
Do you provide legal advice?
No. Your legal advisers provide legal advice. We work with them and your team to put the resulting requirements into the product design.
